Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable.

Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop:

Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!

  • Right-click on
    FRST.gif
    icon and select
    RunAsAdmin.jpg
Run as Administrator to start the tool.
(XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
  • Press the Fix button just once and wait.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  • When finished FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

Please attach it to your reply.

I haven't signed into my google account or got my bookmarks back that were saved so I don't know if the extra tab is going to show up

Ok, I have signed into my Google account and imported my bookmarks and so far so good. I would like to try this browser, as I really like it better than Mozilla's, before we do anything else. I want to make sure the Cassiopesa search tab isn't going to show up again. I also have another question. I have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Pro and AVG Free are they going to work together or will they cause problems?

I have logged in and out of my Google account several times today and so far the cassiopesa search tab hasn't shown up . Do you think we've got it gone for good this time?
