Latest Pro version, pop-up each & every-time I opened the program. The pop-up is a large windows informing the user of new features. After searching the program for an off button & found none, my patience with CCleaner finally evaporated (there was little left) - It took a while as used CCleaner since it was donation ware from day one but removed the program for good. Will use 'Privacy Eraser pro' from now on, I have Wise 365 too.

I tried each & every permutation there on on the Updates section, frankly I think I had spent enough time on it that's why I removed it. The thing is it's the Pro (pay) version & it's a problem that should not have been there in the first place if they (some edjit) hadn't made the decision to have a large window regarding the update with no apparent way of stopping it, or at least see once only. It opened on every time CCleaner was run, even when up to date.

I did try a full re-install after removing everything & on the (un) privacy tab all boxes were ticked (after registered), they really do not deserve my custom. & they have not learned this year at all - Anyway started using Privacy Eraser, it was just the final straw for CCleaner over the last months :)

Problem was Avast cookies put in CCleaner & then white-listed automatically by Avast. If you remove there cookies either accidentally or simply with another cleaner regardless how the settings are in 'the 'Update' tab the pop-up with return. I ended up blocking Piriform with my Firewall. Planting cookies on a pay for cleaner then white listing them IMO seems to defy the purpose of the product + I really don't need any info ever, though maybe some do? :-)
