Looking forward to the test...Starting my test rigjt now. I am going to do multiple security softwares and he first one is Windows 10 Defender.
I need some help I have 1,000 Malware samples but need to rename them from .file to .exe how can I do this without renaiming 1 by 1?
I think you misread the rules. Your initial sample set should be between 5000-10000 samples. The tested sample set should be between 500-1000 samples. For example, if you find 8000 samples, you would randomly test 800 of them with EfficacyTest.
Yeah I thought doing 11 AVs testing would be easy I only got Avast and Defender. Zemana got infected in like 2 seconds. (Got unlucky with the sample I choose had to make a new VM then bit defender free took forever. Maybe I will try doing Avaria and Voodosheild of course.
These numbers seem more achievable, i was about to give up.EDIT to the OP about number of Sample
"If the tester can't get such number of samples , an absolute minimum would be 100 real malwares (not PUP or else) for the test; however more sample you have, better it is for the test"
and maybe for you
These numbers seem more achievable, i was about to give up.
Yeah, I think VS should be tested last & should be last in the video too.Just finished Windows Defender and doing Avast, Zemana, Malwarebytes, Bit defender, and maybe some more before Voodosheild.
That applies to CIS & not CCAV, right?Did you modify the sandbox settings to Comodo since it's a VM test and Comodo doesn't see the files that you copy/paste or drag/drop as unknown and it will trust then by default ?
