The disadvantage, C if consider malware trusted, it will not contain; VM contain all inclusive.

Now this sentence makes me want to try it and feel like an advanced user. 😅

I’m wondering if the result could be better using dark mode instead of light mode, since light is light. 🙄

That's true, for beginners Containment On Access is best.
The more advanced users might also like to use the on-demand (VM or SBIE) or only that. (I don't use C Containment) :)

I never get programs that you need a PHD to use it correctly. Not saying Comodo is at that level but it's close.

The problem with HIPS/Virtualization/Containers or whatever technology you want to call it is the flood of prompts for advanced users.

This is the case for firewalls too, in the end the user just clicks OK which defeats the purpose of the tech in the first place.

Why bother when you can just use a VM? Don't get me wrong I like Comodo but if your doing anything risky a VM would be my first line of defense.

Anyway as I've said multiple times on here any advanced malware 99% of people wouldn't know, and the other 1% probably designed it :cry:.

The problem is the care factor, no one would be targeting Comodo users unless your holding big money, it's such a niche software with low user base.

I don't have figures at hand about security products market share. Xcitium is obviously earning enough money / making enough profit to pay for both Xcitium software and for free Comodo consumer software development so they either have one billionaire user or two or more users who are somewhat less wealthy. :)

Yeah I'm calling bullshit :poop: I think they are living off the CA money they got by selling their certificate business. But prove me wrong!

As I've said I know NO ONE using Xcitium in the enterprise, most use CrowdStrike or other EDR. Again prove me wrong and I'll eat my 🎩
