Hello,

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them.
Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.

  • Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Press Scan button.

    x5o4gh.png

  • It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please attach it to your reply.
  • The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your reply.

Windows 10 Enterprise

Is this corporate/business computer?
No, my dad got a copy of windows for personal use from his work, this computer stays at home and I just play games and do homework on it. If you do not believe me, that's understandable. Thank you for responding.

I had a problem unistalling the Amazon 1Button App, I couldn't find it in the app wizard, seems like it has hidden itself.

I was able to uninstall the Amazon app, and I attached the fixlog to my reply. However, the computer is still very slow and my disk is still being used 100% most of the time.

It seems you have some problems with your hard drive.

Do you know your hard drive model?

  1. Click the Start Button and then click the "Programs" folder.
  2. Next, click the "Accessories" and then the "System Information" or "System Tools" folder.
  3. Open the "System Information" file.
  4. Within the System Information window, click the + symbol next to Components.
  5. Click the "+" next to "Storage" and click on "Drives". In the right side of the window you should find information about the hard drive including its capacity and serial number.

Yes, exactly what I expected. Your hard drive is malfunctioned beyond repair and you will need to replace it. That is the cause of slowness and all your problems.

Alright, dang. Do you have any idea what caused this so I can try and avoid/prevent it later on? I do know that force stopping a computer (power button) COULD cause this (I think), but what else could cause this?

There is no unique answer to this one, it could be caused by years of usage, vibrations, factory mistake, anything. It happens to people all the time, so it is not something you can learn how to prevent.
