Control D has officially achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (Information Security Management) and ISO/IEC 27701:2019 (Privacy Information Management) certifications.

Notably, these certifications follow the company’s SOC 2 type II compliance from the previous year, heightening the third-party verification of their security and privacy to rigorous standards recognized around the world:
  • The ISO 27001 certification confirms that their security program covers "people, processes, and technology" and is subject to ongoing audits rather than being a one-time check.

  • The ISO 27701 standard specifically addresses how personal data is collected and processed, ensuring it meets a global framework for privacy protection.

Ok. is that something Control D should have but lacked? Or is it now an advantage over the competition?

ISO certification is voluntary. But it boosts your trustworthiness. Miles of security controls for you to implement. And the organizational structure to follow suite. Not for small companies.
