Can someone with CyberLock installed confirm whether the Edge browser removes its processes upon closing? I observed the Edge processes persist even after closing it following the installation of CL, and CL doesn't switch to OFF. I'm unsure if CL is the root of the issue, but I didn't encounter it prior to CL installation, and it's not happening on another system with Kaspersky. Windows 11 and CyberLock 7.77

Yeah, Edge has been acting weird the last 3-4 weeks. It wants to run all the time, even if Startup Boost is disabled. But either way, CyberLock would never cause an app to run ;), so I am certain that is not the issue.

I never faced the mentioned problem, and I have startup boost or copilot disabled. Anyway, the installation of this month's Windows update resolved the issue.
That is great to hear, thank you for letting me know... I was hoping it was a small bug that would be fixed with a Windows Update.

I am running 7.77 and occasionally CyberLock will enter the Training mode. This makes me uneasy. I don't know what is triggering that. Seems strange. I have set CL for Smart/Aggressive from the start.

not sure but it might matter whether you're running CL in Autopilot or Smart mode. When no web apps are online for x number of minutes the Desktop Shield changes from Locked or either Unlocked or Training. IIRC Autopilot changes to Training, I have seen the same thing, but right now I'm on Smart mode and it changes to Unlocked. If you open browser, your shield should display Locked, is that what it's doing?

Not sure if it happened while online or off. Next time I will take a look and report here. Thank you for response.

I am aware Edge wants to stay open in background after closing. I kill the tree with process explorer and tweaked settings to stop that as mentioned above. Meanwhile on hardware win10, lately whenever I close Edge I get a warning popup from CL BLOCK or ALLOW rundll32.exe (valid MS file in system32) with command line

"c:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe" c:\windows\system32\inetcpl.cpl, clearmytracksbyprocess flags:75498491 winx:0 winy:0 ieframe:0

Initially I blocked it, but more recently I have allowed, but either way, next time I close Edge it happens again. I am not aware that I changed anything with Edge to trigger this. curious but just an annoyance. I do not see this popup on win10_VM running CL.

EDIT: I just ran modify / repair of Edge which reinstalled it, and opened Edge, and closed it and again got the same warning popup from CL

FIXED the CL warning when Edge closed. Related to Edge Settings | Privacy... | Clear Internet Explorer browsing data turned off and under Default Browser changed setting to "Don't allow" IE mode.
