To be fair Cylance received an engine update at the start of the year. It’s supposed to lower false postives and increase detection.
The test in the video was made only on EXE files. So, we must wait until Cylance will be tested again by AV testing labs. Such improvement in the detection is possible and welcome. To be fair Cylance received an engine update at the start of the year. It’s supposed to lower false postives and increase detection.
Yup, I personally have a lifetime license and was already testing it. It never detected scripts as their Script control isn't included in the home version. The test in the video was made only on EXE files. Cylance never was actually bad, they just didn't take the home version seriously and because of that some very important modules are only available in the enterprise version. Cylance is still very basic but it's a great software for combos. Hope they add more stuff to the home version in the future.First Malwarebytes, now Cylance. If these shops turn their products around they might turn the forum upside down. Definitely waiting to see some of the improvements coming from many AV solution providers
This seems to be true of multiple home solutions who also have a decent foothold in enterprise. Sophos drastically improved their home solution and it is pretty close to something I would recommend these days. I’m hoping for more such improvement.they just didn't take the home version seriously
Just ask the video creator, he answers most of the questionscool music for sure - where is it from?
