As much as possible you don't need to have another security software unless its determined to be ineffective, you may explore the overall configuration of Kaspersky especially their Application Control module which is a main backbone of their product.

A little overkill but:
Set UAC Always Notify you could also add the following programs to harden your system:

Extra Compatible Real-Time Protection:
1.) Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit Free - https://downloads.malwarebytes.org/file/mbae_current/
2.) Zemana Anti-Logger Free - https://zemana.com/Download/AntiLoggerFree/AntiLoggerFree_Setup_1.8.2.320.exe

On-Demand Scanners:
1.) Zemana Anti-Malware Free - AntiMalware - Buy Your AntiMalware - Zemana Store
2.) Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free - Thank you for downloading Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
3.) HitmanPro - http://dl.surfright.nl/HitmanPro_x64.exe

Enjoy an even more secure system :)

BD TS

-Little buggy
-Many FPs
+Good Protection components
+Medium light

Threat map i can see attackers in map thats interesting
-----------------------------------------

Mcafee AV Plus

+Light
+Firewall is good
+Threat map
+No FPS

In my opinion Mcafee is better overall
Not many features but i don,t need same bloat every app

I am glad that McAfee is working well for you. I have not used that in a long time. Maybe I will try it out again sometime.

Avast Free has low FP rates so to Avira Free, considering those are not so active to detect benign Visual Studio program files and other beta. *

*Based on my observation, since Kaspersky manage to flag my project made in Visual Studio long time before even now malicious code.

I believe you should add Malwarebytes Anti- Malware for scanning and Exploit for protection.
