Reading the marketing statement, it caught my attention.
Marketing data processing that includes the name and location of any files on your computer.

A question has arisen, and the company may be selling our data?

Its just for using your data to show personalized ads and pop ups, like most companies do.

Always read the TOS of software, many people are too lazy to read the fine inprint or sometimes just do a speedrun of clicking Next or Accept when installing software

As far as I know, KSN can read the name and location of your files too, but it's for protection, not ads.

But yeah @tedyy, Kaspersky is a big data collector.
