Malware cleaner will never slow down your computer, because it does not have any background processes running and it does not need to be installed to work. Although Malware cleaner as a basic heuristics engine, it is essentially a MD5 signature based scanning system. This means that it uses a database of MD5 malware signatures and compares those to MD5 signatures generated from the files on your computer. We are not planning to try and compete with the big boys, but hope that you will find Datum Malware Cleaner at least a little useful.

I tried it the other day after seeing it posted on Softpedia.
However I could not get it to complete a scan it would crash about half way before finishing.
