Or you should try this one but its file is larger....link > www.fraps.com ..

Or try this one.... http://www.deskshare.com/screen-recorder.aspx

Fraps is mostly for gamers who need to capture their prowess, Camstudio is more versatile, you will have more editing options.

I am getting the following error. Not able to open it. Any other one?

You can try Expression Encoder 4 (by Microsoft), the Free Edition is limited to 10 minutes:

Service Pack 2 for Encoder 4 (some features are limited to the Pro version):

I currently use Camtasia for all of my recordings.

Camtasia is good if you have $300 extra money (personally I think it is worth $100 - $200) for the whole suite editor, recorder, player, and in the recorder you can get smart focus and record system sounds.

If you choose FRAPS way, prepare for big sized files. You will also need an editor for it.

FRAPS paid version are Gamers main choice, however recently, Dxtory is proven to be giving better results at a price tag of ¥3,600 (yes japanese currency).

Camtasia is ok and you have the tools for editing the videos.

Hypercam for tutorials is just fine.
