Desktops Show Off!

I don't know if I am able to do this with XP, but I wonder if I could have all my shortcuts down on the left side of the toolbar and have a wide open desktop. If so, would all those toolbar icons slow my startup?

Not sure what you mean, but you could have RockedDock. :)

Cool brother. I will check it out.

Basically I was interested in possibly moving all my desktop icons that I use to the task bar (whatever the bar is at the bottom of our screens) as to have a clean desktop as you have.

I see. Well I have all the programs I use the most like Firefox, IE, VMware and what not and I have the rest in the start menu. :)

hello

for Win Xp just right click on your taskbar and choose toolbar and put a check in desktop now you have your desktop icons in a list by clicking on the double arrows by the word desktop if you need to make sure to unlock the taskbar by right clicking on it and unlock and move it all the way over next to the notification area then lock the taskbar

now right click on the desktop and choose arrange icons by and uncheck show desktop icons

:)

Wish the start orb area was transparent, but using full size taskbar. http://prntscr.com/gra2x

Wallpaper based off the TV series called Breaking Bad. RAMCPUTaskbar also colored to lighter grey.

Manually desaturated every StartScreen icon to match the overall clean and neat greystyle theme.

Quite happy with the outcome. Thanks
