Which type of virtual machines are fastest and best?

I used VMWare Pro before but keep hearing about better ways.

Because its Type 1 hypervisor. faster+ more secure.

I hate that you can't drag and copy though

Plus it uses my C drive and not my D drive for some stuff. I do not want VM settings and image on my C drive.

If you want a virtual fast machine that works on the native hardware specs, you can create native boot VM (with dual boot).
All hypervisors have their 'unique' traits. But with Windows 11(10) Pro you have one already free of charge. Though I could not pick a favorite, I do mostly use Microsoft's Hyper-V.
