dllhost.exe COM surrogate spawns multiple instances of same

Is there a generic fix for this, or do we really have to create a thread for each one? I'm having the same issue and was about to post a thread of my own...

This is a nasty bugger. I ran ComboFix, and it seems to have deleted 3 DLLs from AppData, and 2 install.exe files on my root C and D dirs. Will keep an eye on it... do we know what's caused the issue? Seems to really have cropped up in the past week, as both of my machines were infected on Monday this week.
