Dont really care about it that much nowadays. Lack of updates and lack of messaging between users and comodo staff is the thing i dislike about comodo...firewall is good but i really dont need superior protection to protect my online life.

I rather harden/improve my own internet habits, use adblocker/script blockers and protect against phishing & malware with the extensions that block malicious sites

sure i have seen cruelsisters videos about very unknown malware and comodo stopping them , but im not that paranoid anymore, windows defender is more than enough for me these days

I remember the old days of Windows 7, when the first things I have to install is Avast Free Antivirus, Comodo Free Firewall, and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, those were my must-have software for security, time changed now, and I don't use any of them anymore.
One of my earliest go to setups that I always used was Avast, Malwarebytes, Online Armour and WinPatrol.

Guys, let's not change the subject. This is the topic where we make fun of Comodo, remember?
Why shouldn’t we? It seems to be triggering some member really bad and the entertainment is spectacular. Only Comodo fanboys can give us what we really need — undisputed fun and laughter.

Btw the MalwareTips audience has now said its heavy word — out of 60 voters (well acquainted with the brand and security software industry), 70% find the brand totally insignificant and additional 21.7% find their products undesirable.

Thanks everyone for your participation in this poll and see you soon in another one!

fwiw I did not vote, I thought the four choices provided did not accurately convey my thoughts / feelings. But yes a fun read. No offense...

Not really. I can't say I ever have, actually. These days, I just stick to Microsoft Defender.

I remember using Comodo Firewall in 2010-2012 but see no real benefit of it in 2024. It is more of a annoyance than anything.

Win 11 Home on an ASUS Vivobook. Definitely not a high end laptop. I installed the newest CFW a day or two after it was announced. Cruel settings, of course. No problems so far. I've used Comodo off and on since v2 or v3. Solid protection and I think I'll stay with it.

if you didn't see it, earlier today, cruelsister posted a video installing CF 2025 with her settings. The GUI is just different enough that I found the video helpful (or I had missed a setting or 2 installing CF before seeing the video) of course, you may have hit all the marks. :)
PS (not a fanboy just "testing" it in VM) fwiw, I tried running firefox "in comodo container" right-click context menu, and firefox froze, had to kill it with task manager.
