Troubleshoot EEK Database update issue!

I've a problem in updating the virus database of EEK! Whenever I click on update database the new database is downloaded but after that it keeps showing "installing" and nothing happens even if I leave it for hours!

Never happened to me, try to download from the Emsisoft website, the latest version of EEK, delete the one you had before and try again to download the malware signatures.
