Emsisoft is great, it uses 2 engines: Bitdefender and their own.
It's made to work better along side a good firewall with HIPS ( Comodo, Online Armor, Outpost or Private Firewall ).

i know that they use Bitdefender and their own av engine i made comment in the video about adding a 3rd engine to Emsisoft

Emsisoft is good but it still has bugs .. on my system it sometimes crashed.

Emsisoft never crashed on me, its fully stable and powerful. I think its more likely that it crashes because of your sistem and not cause of the program itself.
