That's underwhelming to say the least...I see that they have already provided the changelog in the forum.
Changelog:
Version 19.0.11
- Dropped support for 32bit Windows OS
- New: Added VPN UI tile for ESET Smart Security Premium to support launch of VPN for ESET HOME Security Premium
- Improved : Monthly schedule option added to the scheduler
- Improved: Gamer mode logging
- Improved: On-demand scan (added option to change profile from GUI, …)
- Other improvements and bug fixing
I agree. Basically now ESSP users will have a VPN is the main thing that chaanged. Their VPN is based on Windscribe. I don't know if it's equivalent to the paid Windscribe VPN.That's underwhelming to say the least...
This changelog is more impressive:That's underwhelming to say the least...
It seems version 18.2.14.0 would've fit better as version 19.This changelog is more impressive:
Version 18.2.14.0
Version 18.1.13.0
- New: Microphone Monitor
- New: Ransomware Remediation <-there it is
- New: Browser protection: Enhanced data protection: browser user profiles protected
- Updated: PWM tile and page removed from products
- Fixed: CVE-2025-5028
- Other improvements and fixed bugs
Version 18.1.10.0
- New: Untrusted extensions handling in SBB
- New: Updater logs section
- New: Advanced setup scan section
- Bugfixes and other improvements
Between the 18.2 and 19 there is only a month. So in a month, that’s not really bad.
- New: Untrusted extensions handling in SBB
- New: Updater logs section
- Bugfixes and other small improvements
They are chasing lifecycles without putting too much thought how many features go into the “new version”.It seems version 18.2.14.0 would've fit better as version 19.

True. How do they, I mean ESET or any other product nowadays, choose when to upgrade the version number? ESET seem to do it every year around this time. So maybe a yearly thing. They are chasing lifecycles without putting too much thought how many features go into the “new version”.
Ransomware Remediation is for the ESET Ultimate users only.We are on 18.2.18.0 and No Ransomware Remediation

I already said in another thread that it's only available for the most expensive - Ultimate version.
At first yes, but i read somewhere Marcos ( on Eset forum ) mention after the test with Ultimate it will come to premium.I already said in another thread that it's only available for the most expensive - Ultimate version.
Yea I saw that some moderators try to calm the crowd by making promises. We will see how it goes. But for now, it's only available in the ultimate edition. At first yes, but i read somewhere Marcos ( on Eset forum ) mention after the test with Ultimate it will come to premium.
