I was about to recommend "xyz" as well, but your post made me understand that it's out of the question, well done! All the programs mentioned work fine, in my case (if xyz is excluded) I would & do use McAfee, either version, I find the cheap & cheerful 'Internet Security' fulfils my needs & others - Just my ten pence worth but I found after using it i found Zone Alarm Extreme to be the worst of all mentioned & felt like an alpha version, probably the worst AV experience I've had in recent times, again my just MHO![]()
If up to now you did not made your decision,I guess you already have one and you're unaware of it - MS Defender then....heheso guys, still didn't take any decision, really![]()

Was joking around.no, there is still 13 days of McAfee trial. The problem is McAfee wasn't tested by Nostromo from Comss and then I dunno what grade of performance actually McAfee offers.
From other info on here esp from user Trident shows that McAfee now is light & does a really great job, i think so too & IMHO really worth a try, the GUI is not the best but protection is pretty good & nothing the the McAfee we all (I) uninstalled a few years ago, its a pittance to buy & i have never given McAfee any payment details.no, there is still 13 days of McAfee trial. Selecting software based on political orientation is not the wisest decision. The location of the OP explains I would think why K is not wanted.
This is very irrogant. Easy to be pragmatic when it's theoretical for you. Those of us with actual losses tend to have different threat models - it's not about wisdom, it's about experience. Too much gone and vanished in the last years.Selecting software based on political orientation is not the wisest decision.
I use CoreTemp; it's an Israeli software, but it just do the intended task in the most proper way.
Unless I am a high-caliber target, country of origin does not matter.
We had lots of losses by Israel, we had lots of losses UK during their occupation period. Those of us with actual losses tend to have different threat models
Yup, I've either used one of these two or one of Andy's tools in conjunction with my AV for over 10 years now starting with Appguard v.4.Cyberlock or appguard, with any Av great for way extra protection
Try creating a "poll" instead of a regular post; this will help you get more accurate results about members' preferences.so guys, still didn't take any decision, really![]()
