You’ve been hearing more often about your personal data being accessed without your permission, stolen or leaked from social media companies and other online services. It’s hard to know which web pages are ‘safe’, and which contain trackers that will take your privacy information without you knowing.

That’s why we’ve created the Findx Privacy Control extensions for your favourite browsers – take control of your privacy when you browse the web! You can choose to block all advertisements and trackers that are on a page, or allow those that you choose (remember ads supports the medias, but personal profiling isn’t needed to show ads).

Web Search:

• The Findx search engine is an open source web and enterprise search engine and spider/crawler.

Mobile App:

• The Findx mobile app is based on the amazing Firefox Focus by Mozilla
• The tracker blocking lists are based on the Disconnect blocking lists

Browser Extension:

• The Findx Privacy Control extension for the desktop browsers Firefox and Chrome is Open Source software. it’s based on the amazing uBlock Origin combined with work done by the Privacore team on private search and detailed filter lists for Facebook blocking.

The Findx search engine lacks a news section to show the latest searches with dates

The extension lacks of an element hiding feature which is good for manually removing overlays. You can find this feature in other blockers like uBO, AdBlock, ABP, AdBlocker Ultimate etc
