Official changelog

New
Fixes
  • Improved selection magnifier placement when selecting text over several lines.
  • In Jump back in the Sync tab call to action can now be dismissed with the search bar open.
  • Various security fixes.

I've looked at Relay in the past, but opted for DDG Email Protection instead. Firefox Relay may be a better option for existing/avid FF users.

I have also used DDG Email. Only problem is I cannot customize DDG email ids so now using Anonaddy which lets me customize email names for different websites. For example, I can use "MalwareTips@username.anonaddy.com" but for DDG, it is "randomname@duck.com"

To be fair DDG's services are all in beta stages, they offer no paid options, and restrictive methods limit how users can access their services.

For most people SimpleLogin or AnonAddy are better choices. Firefox Relay appear to be competitively priced, matching AnonAddy Lite at $12 annually, and SimpleLogin Premium at $30 with AnonAddy Pro.

Also, Apple iCloud paid users have Hide My Email, but I use DDG to keep it simple.

Thanks zkSnark for the heads-up on AnonAddy's customisable names. Agreed its a little annoying with DDG.

church of the swimming elephant aka cotse has had anonymous email features like this for many years, current downside no 2fa on their web login. I'm also using ddg email too fwiw. cotse not free.
