Advice Request Firefox hover popups

I have a question about the info popups firefox given you when you hover over anything. What are they called? I've been trying to change their appearance, to better match my dark theme, but I cannot even determine what they are called. I need to know that so I can research the css. Would "tooltip" be the right word here?

No idea. But I guess in the interim I can use browser.chrome.toolbar_tips set to false to disable them altogether.

Those popups you get when hovering over an item are called tooltips.
