Firefox 136.0.2 official release coming soon
  • Fixed a bug where "Cookies and site data" and "Temporary cached files and pages" were unexpectedly enabled after updating to Firefox 136 for users with "History" and or "Site settings" set to clear on shutdown in previous versions. (Bug 1952564)
  • Fixed an issue where the Primary Password prompt appeared in unexpected situations. (Bug 1946121)
  • Fixed visibility issues with radio buttons on dark backgrounds. (Bug 1951930)
  • Fixed high CPU usage on Windows when the screen was locked or the laptop lid was closed. (Bug 1924932)

Firefox 136.0.2 official release coming soon
running win10_VM with Cyberlock 7.88 as seen and mentioned before, firefox sees the update and instructs me to restart, but after restart it is till version 136.0.1 apparently 136.0.2 was / is blocked by CL. In order to update firefox here, I have to both put CL into install mode AND totally close firefox and reopen it in order for the update to take effect. Mentioning this because usually an already installed app will update ok and not be blocked by CL in its default "smart mode" -- I'll mention this to @danb to see why firefox updates are different...

sidenote: Zorin OS (linux) is no longer officially supporting firefox, and is replacing it with brave, due to some policy changes from mozilla as less privacy...
They are just changing default browser from Firefox to Brave, Firefox is still fully supported. It was weird choice considering the history of Brave.

Personally I think this whole TOS thing was blown out of proportion.

PS I use both. Firefox on desktop as secondary browser and Brave on Android as primary.

yes got it here US at 17h50 utc BUT lately I notice after it download update and says "restart" and I hit the restart button, it closes and reopens but it has NOT updated, I have to close firefox and then reopen it, and only then has it updated. Odd. It see this on win10 Host and on win10_VMs. At first I thought this was related to Cyberlock block but it is not CL...
