Serious Discussion Fort Firewall

are you talking about this ?
Yes.

Also see How to submit signed drivers to Microsoft.
We've proceeded same trouble steps until "employee check" and gave up.
I'm not going to repeat this nonsense again soon.

It's not possible for individual developer to sign a driver for Windows.

I'd rather develop a program to sell for Mac. For $99 a year you get all the certificates, etc.

But...Fort Firewall, like Glasswire etc fails for its real purpose. To block outside connection. I installed Keyscrambler. Checked for updates. Fort Firewall allowed Keyscrambler to connect outside, after a second, Fort Firewall asked, do you want to block Keyscrambler to connect outside? But it already connected. Too late, RAT malwares etc can make a connection to C2. So, please, @tnodir implement a feature that does HALT/STOP, somethin like Netlimiter "blocker" firewall does.

@tnodir Does zones support hosts file type blocklists? I could get Hagezi's Threat Intelligence feed in IP format but not for Windows native tracker list.

Hey mate, there was news that Microsoft is waiving certification fees for developers who submit their software to their app store. :) Maybe this will help you get your firewall listed in the Microsoft store. ;)

I owe you an apology @tnodir
I should not release statements regarding Fort firewall based on a remote experience, before trying the latest version.
Actually it has markedly improved, with "block, if not allowed" filter mode acting exactly as the prompt by the similar products, and it is the only firewall properly prompting for svchost.exe per service.
Good work 🤝
