Hi it seems much better-I have a few issues/questions-regarding synaptics-should I just update the device driver? also I attempted to download update for i-tunes-and now it is telling me that it has not installed-I keep troubleshooting to no avail!

I am not too familiar with iTunes. I can suggest you to uninstall it completely and download fresh version.

If it is not helping, you have iTunes forums, so go ask question
