Avast... it just works. On my system at least it has less impact than my second choice (Defender).

I voted for avast/avg. I would've voted with defender but avast/avg feels lighter most of the time.
If I could choose 2, my second opinion would've been wvsx- great detection, great BB but I don't feel confident using the webshield and firewall. At least for now.

Defenders, along with their brother Essential, have grown steadily in the process of being perceived as incompetent.
As someone who has been watching its growth in real time, I vote for a defender.

I vote Avast free for best all round features that Kaspersy free lacks viz bank mode for banking. shopping , outward firewall , hardened mode , wi-fi protection & gives much better protection for newbies and average users against their most common problems viz browser hijacks , pups, malicious websites and adware , it also lightweight , fast and provides good all round protection .

Voted for Windows Defender, comes straight out of the box and can be tweaked if needed with ConfigureDefender. GitHub - AndyFul/ConfigureDefender: Utility for configuring Windows 10 built-in Defender antivirus settings.
Avast would be my second choice since I haven't tried the others. Sadly, Avast has been going downhill as of late.

I voted for BitDefender but meant to vote for Kaspersky due to my fat fingers and laggy phone under 20% accidentally selected BD.

Hopefully Kaspersky doesn't get beat by one vote .

The defender, who has grown to compete with Kaspersky for the lead, reminds me of Honda, which started with a small engine attached to a bicycle and finally grew to F1. keep it up! Defender!
