Yes, I did guess as much (I do have 80GB-Ram), still quite the amount.

You should try using less RAM in your VM and see if its RAM usage drops. Also, as long as you've plenty of free RAM and I presume you do with that much RAM, G Data's memory usage shouldn't really matter. On a system where G Data's usage RAM usage was causing your system to be low on RAM, that would be an issue.
