Thanks for the review. I don't like the interface. It looks so outdated. GData was a good product. Like with any software, there were issues with it, but at least they pay attention to it and fix the problems. And here are the questions that matter to me: How much does it slow down the computer, how much does it slow down web browsing, and to what extent might it cause a drop in FPS while gaming?
I'm not a gamer, but at the moment I have G-Data on this PC to see how it goes, I did have McAfee on & here I see no difference in how fast the PC runs or boot/web browsing/file copying etc., I've had no issues with it bar it thinks HD Cleaner is malware (sent that to them as a FP) - Everything else is OK, I'm pleased, after not using it for some years - It does give on install the option to install the features you wish, I paid £11 (UK Pounds) 11 Euro for internet Security 1 year, which was 3 user from blitzhandel24 site (said it was 1 user but its 3) & it don't require a payment renew either, which these days is a big, big plus - In a quirky way I like the interface.

I feel if a person can live with the McAfee UI you can certainly live with G-Data UI :cry:

Let's not forget that in fact, G DATA uses the Bitdefender antivirus engine as part of its protection technology. Romanian pride :p(y)
G-Data also uses Bitdefender's web feed to block malicious and phishing sites. They may have other internal and external sources as well, but Bitdefender is one of them, or you could say it's the primary source. So it heavily relies on Bitdefender for most things.
