@generalwu: Well you may go to the mainstream password manager Lastpass as it covers the vital features and synchronization on majority of OS platforms on mobile and desktop.

Sticky Password is another good alternative, as long it should satisfy your need that the credentials are well intact.

@generalwu : Why overload your PC and increase your power bills when you've paid AV like Avast IS 2k16. You are likely to observe more DPCs with that much SW which performs the same task as your IS product. Since you're an audiophile an audio glitch while playing your fav music will ruin your experience. Its good that you've removed some SW and addons.

My subscription to Malwarebytes has ended.

Do you all think it's a good idea to re-purchase both licenses?

I'm tempted to try Zemana Anti-Malware though.

Many thanks.

MBAM and ZAM are good but unnecessary, you have Avast! IS and MBAE - if anything is missed VoodooShield will block it.

Just curious how will MBAE block threats?

So any drive-by will be block by MBAE straight away?

Many thanks. :D

MBAE, EMET and HMP. A all use the same method to stop exploits (obviously they all have other features but were talking about JUST exploit protection) they put their .dll files within the process of the thing they are protecting, e.g: withing my Chrome processes EMET has put EMET.dll in them all (Chrome uses multiple processes) the only downfall would be you can't have your browser in a sandbox or appcontainer, they are all designed to detect when something is getting injected into something you have shielded within your anti-exploit and then the process should be terminated immediately. Malwarebytes offer a test for MBAE but bear in mind this test JUST verifies that your protection is working, in a real situation it may be different. There are many debates about which is better but IMO HitmanPro. Alert is the best (BUT NOT FREE!) so I chose EMET, MBAE is also good but free version doesn't have custom shielding. Here's the test link but bear in mind, a test and a real exploit are completely different! https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_id=129758
P.S: If you configure EMET and HMP. A to protect the MBAE test then they SHOULD also detect them as exploits and your AV may block MBAE test, just exclude it :)

Cool thanks for the explanation, @Tornado.

In summary, they protect their target via injecting their own dll much like malicious object.

Fight poison with poison, haha. :p

I have just check the official website for HitmanPro. Alert, it's available for download.
Does that mean it's free? If so how or what does the license include?

Many thanks.

It's a trial. After 30 days(I think) it will revert to the free version.
You can see what the different between paid and free on the image here
