I used malwarebytes to scan my work pc while in safe mode, it did quarantine a lot of files, and the pc was faster, but Chrome didn't work. I restored all the files, but it still won't work, so now I have a virus that can't be detected with normal antivirus, and Google Chrome won't work. I am using Firefox now. Please help

Maybe its corrupted? Install geek uninstaller and try force uninstall chrome...then re-load chrome from internet and reinstall Geek Uninstaller - the best FREE uninstaller

If it wont work, run malwarebytes adwcleaner AdwCleaner - Free Adware Cleaner & Removal Tool

Still has problem? Run Download RKill to terminate malware processes and then try scanning with malwarebytes once again + antivirus + chrome malware scan tool ( built-in)

You should post malwarebytes scanlogs to Malware Removal Assistance For Windows

This happens with malwarebytes. It does not mean you actually had a true virus.
I would suggest to uninstall malwarebytes, and uninstall Chrome, just do regular uninstalls.
Now restart your computer, then reinstall Chrome. It will remember your settings, unless malwarebytes messed that up.
If all is working, try reinstalling malwarebytes, and see if everything still works.
If not, ask for support on the malwarebytes forum.

I Followed your instructions (had to download RKill), and got Chrome working. I will post the logs if I have any more problems. Thanks!
