Is it possible to even get a free trial of their EDR for home users let alone a actual like subscription or no cause whenever my kaspersky subscription ends I might look into this idk
Bro, it was widely discussed on this thread. Trial is available by having a look at the first post.

Also here: Harmony Endpoint (SandBlast Agent) Free Trial | Endpoint Security | Check Point Software

Use an iCloud address to start trial and you can choose whether you wanna be contacted or not.

If you decide you wanna purchase at one point, have a look at checkpoint.direct. The annual price of a client managed by you is 39+VAT (about £47).

You can but wether you can deploy and configure it correctly is another question. You should have some knowledge on the matter before thinking about getting an endpoint protection software as they just are more complex than home solutions.

I have seen his Kaspersky reviews before and this is the first time I have seen Kaspersky perform so badly
Kaspersky needs to be configured and tweaked (and Harmony too). Under default setup, Harmony will be better. And plus, Harmony has NGAV too, together with the anti-malware engine. As much as you guys want Bitdefender, Deep Instinct or Kaspersky to win in a test against Harmony, it just won’t happen. Sorry.

I dont think they had Kaspersky Sandbox in the test, where as Checkpoint had threat emulation
Kaspersky missed malware when it was introduced locally, don’t try to fins excuses and ways to lie yourself. Check Point did not emulate the same. 😀

What I meant was: Kaspersky did not perform well in this test compared to his previous videos where he tested the home versions of Kaspersky.
Yeah it didnt do that well. I think it also got disabled cause during the video it said turn threat protection on with a defender notification

Well that’s some malware that gained kernel level privileges probably. This thread is about Check Point. I am not interested in Kaspersky’s past and home tests. Kaspersky left the system infected and Check Point didn’t.

Cheaper than Kaspersky Premium, will consider it.

Yeah I mean Kaspersky's not a bad tool you've said it yourself but CheckPoint is better. I think Kaspersky is better as a home av compared to other home av's rather than a EDR

I've already told him several times what I thought of him.
And that these tests are clearly nonsense...

Basically, it launches a script that will bombard the antivirus with file executions. Except that an engine can't handle everything at once, and may clumsily authorize the launch of malware it knows about (as we see in his video on AgentTesla detection, Kaspersky calls it Agentla ... this also happens with the Expiro virus).
This "gang-band" behavior is not an antivirus test worthy of the name.

Yeah, I could tell Kaspersky was overloaded. Checkpoint did completely fine though.

In that case however, what about other scripts? Dont they do the same? Or are they just a bit slower?
