If it were legal I assume he would have named it, but almost every "illegal" streaming site has shady advertisements since they pay quite well for every installed piece of crapware or malware.There are some safe sites out there to watch a movie from.

It's not the Lenovo Superfish it's the Superfish search adware http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superfish

Hmm, is not the same ?
By Screenschot you see that adware is already installed and attempts to connect to the domain.
Then It was already installed or It was inadvertently installed maybe clicking to a banner ...

What are your extensions installed on Firefox? The reason for asking is because an old link which refer about superfish included when Firefox is loaded.
Suggest to remove or turn off any in-related settings for Superfish.

Even some reputable sites can have malware and they don't know it.
I would use Firefox with Adblock, NoScript (run only the necessary script for said site), Ghostry. On top of that use Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit. Oh, use a Non-Admin/limited account.
