Hello everyone, my name is sandra and having been a victim of malware attacks in the past, have decided to be a bit more pro-active and learn about them to prevent infections in the future.

Whilst I'm competent around hardware issues, it's the software problems that leave me terrified! :s

First place I recommend you go is the Security Configuration Wizard so we can give you suggestions of how to better protect yourself.
How did you find out about MT?
 
Hi Sandra, Sandboxie is the best tool that I have found for prevention.

Hi, thanks for the advice. I've just posted my paltry security details.

I stumbled upon MT when I was researching something else - quite a happy occurrence :)

Thanks InternetChicken, I picked up a book on malware analysis, and I'm slowly working my way through it. I have to admit, though, a heck of a lot of it is going way over my head.:)
