Turns out, there are a few other PUPs undetected by both Avast and MalwareBytes. Any reputable program I could use to remove these? Thanks. Attachments IMG_4644.JPG 353.4 KB · Views: 5

TwinHeadedEagle Level 41 Verified Mar 8, 2013 22,627 Jul 13, 2015 #23 Fix with Farbar Recovery Scan Tool This fix was created for this user for use on that particular machine. Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable. Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop: Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work! Right-click on icon and select Run as Administrator to start the tool. (XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File). Press the Fix button just once and wait. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run. When finished FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt. Please attach it to your reply. Attachments fixlist.txt 235 bytes · Views: 2

X xsirlagsalot New Member Thread author Verified Jul 8, 2015 28 Jul 15, 2015 #32 This time around, it didn't detect it. However, screenglaze is still an option for a screensaver in control panel. Anytime I access the control panel and go into the personalize section, the screenglaze folder appears under C:/ProgramData.

Re-run FRST/FRST64 by double-clicking: Copy screenglaze into the Search: field in FRST then click the Search Registry button. FRST will search your computer for files and when finished it will produce a log Search.txt in the same directory the tool is run. Please attach it to your reply.
