The hibitsoft.ir website doesn't appear in DuckDuckGo Search for me; it lists hibit-uninstaller.com when I search for "hibitsoft." The download from hibit-uninstaller.com leads to direct-download.giize.com, which Cloudflare Gateway DNS blocks as malware. I submitted hibit-uninstaller.com through my Cloudflare account to categorize it as brand embedding and malware.

I see. Only hibitsoft.ir is the legit website. Anything else is fake. I just confirmed that the program itself connects to hibitsoft.ir when you check for updates.

For any interested- Although I had hoped that the General Citizenry finally had access to the FREE WORLD (blocked since February), this does not seem to be the case. Businesses can apply for Web Access, and after paying a rather steep fee (Tiered Access) as well as an intrusive vetting process they MAY be allowed to continue on the Web.

But it seems that the majority of Folk are still in the dark (and God forbid if a VPN is used), the government there has found a way to continue a policy of suppression while both increasing control of a business and making a few bucks (or more properly, Rials) for diverse nastiness.

So basically, "Same dog, different collar." A worse collar, I guess.

my mind is blown. Is this app Iranian? Like, the domain is .ir which is obviously Iran, and when you check the 'About Us' page, the developer info is straight-up Iranian!

I'm not gonna lie, I'm totally freaking out. For the record, I am Iranian myself—like, my mom's grandma side traces back to Iran, so it's not about being anti-Iranian or anything. But installing an app with this level of permissions? That needs to come from a legit source with a solid track record. And I honestly have no clue where this app even originated from.

It honestly feels like someone just ripped parts from one of those all-in-one optimizer apps, edited them, and slapped this together. That's the vibe I'm getting, you know?

I've started blocking HiBit at the firewall level and nearly stopped using it completely. Too much risk like using Russian/Chinese software.

The problem is under authoritarian/dictatorships they will use every chance they can get to screw Western users including using software/services to compromise us.

No thanks, if you can't use Kaspersky you shouldn't use HiBit.

Someone went to change the regime in Iran; I think the only thing he managed to change was his underwear. 🤣😆🤭

Trump deserves a lot of blame & :poop: for this war which was a disaster I do agree BUT...

Trump did what he said, he gave the Iranian people the opportunity to rise up and take back their country and what did we get?

We got absolute 🍩

So from now on when the regime murders and tortures their own people in the tens of thousands then you will get little sympathy from us in the West.

Worse. This is a terrible outcome. Probably the most bungled and mismanaged war ever.

The hard liners have more control of the country and the straight of Hormuz, and they will probably move forward in secret to create and develop a nuke .

I'm using HiBit because, in my personal tests, it still gets better results than paid Revo, even though I have a two-year Revo license.
I downloaded a 🏴‍☠️ Revo Pro Portable for comparing and have the same experience as you. HiBit found more leftovers than Revo Pro.

I'm keeping Hibit. I find it just works the best.
You've been warned but you won't listen. Why would you trust anything that comes from a country that murders and tortures it's own people, supports terrorism globally, and attacks fellow Muslims in Arab countries by launching drones and missiles at civilians. They are on par with Nth Korea and Russia regarding human rights, and you think one developer under regime control won't backdoor his uninstaller program used by tech geeks? Yeah right..... At least block all HiBit in firewall, that is what you have to do.

According to Brave Leo:
How many civilians have been killed in Arab countries by Iran during the war?
Iranian strikes killed approximately 28 to 48 civilians across Arab countries, according to conflicting sources that vary on whether to include military personnel, foreign nationals, or unconfirmed maritime incidents.

What about the Iranian civilians killed by the United States and Israel?
According to the most recent data from June 2026, approximately 1,701 to 3,636 Iranian civilians have been killed in US and Israeli strikes, though exact figures vary significantly due to restricted access and conflicting reports.

According to Brave Leo:
Yeah and we all you know your views. Despite politics and extremist beliefs on both sides people shouldn't blindly trust HiBit no matter what.

Do we trust Russian apps? Chinese apps? Then Iran is in the same leaking dictator boat. Always question and always protect against the obvious.

I’m new here as a member, but I’ve been reading the site for over eight years. The developer of Hibit—who is Iranian—frequently posts updates about his program. It’s a great program, and the fact that he is Iranian is no barrier to using it; there is no evidence linking the developer to the country's current government. His product is recommended and endorsed by many users—myself included. It is safe to use, and he is likely just a decent guy living in a country with a bad government. The same applies to Kaspersky AV: I’ve used it for years; it’s excellent and offers strong protection—a fact backed by experts from various countries. We know why it was banned in the US—it was purely politics, nothing more. It remains permitted in my country. I am not friends with the developer of Hibit, nor with the developer of Kaspersky. As for China, I have no particular stance either way. Just my two cents.
