When you rummage through your drawers looking for an old hard drive with information, but find something even more antique...:)

The first computer I used was a C64.
I wrote two programs in Basic to calculate time dilation as you approach the speed of light, and to search for large prime numbers.
But the slow calculation speed was impressive.
So I started using logarithmic scales.

I still have a slide rule that uses this principle, which you saw NASA engineers using in the movie "Apollo 13".

I knew Windows 98SE, Windows ME, and the copies of Windows XP that you burned onto CD-R with Nero or Roxio :p
(and the early days of Ubuntu when I was still in middle school)

Yes, my daughter also used Windows and Xubuntu in middle school and high school.
Unfortunately, she had a lot of difficulty using Linux for the exercises she had to do at home.
I don't remember well if she was able to do all her exercises with Wine.
