Advice Request How to check your Battery Usage/History/Charge report for Windows

No third-party apps required.​


Launch CMD
Run powercfg /batteryreport
Open C:/WINDOWS/system32/battery-report.html

You can check the following in the report.
  • Installed batteries
  • Recent usage
  • Battery usage (graph)
  • Usage history
  • Capacity
  • Life estimated

I ran the command, but the report file was saved as energy-report and not battery-report. Thank you very much for sharing this useful command.
Fixed the command. Should be as follows:
powercfg /batteryreport

The Energy report may also be quite useful. Further commands can be found with powercfg /?
