How to remove Win32/Adload.Da virus

Alright, I will not delete those threats.

Yes, I tried it and I think my Internet Explorer runs slow like my Chrome.
 
So my internet is really slow because of the connection.

Download speed = .10
Upload speed = .14

But it's not just the internet that is slow but the startup, the loading times and everything. This is an intel i5 and I defrag it and use auslogic maintenance every week so the change in its speed after the virus is really noticeable.

STEP 1: Clean your temporary files to gain more hard drive space and remove the junk files

<li>Exit CCleaner.</li>

Now go to Tools -- > Start up -- > Windows (Start Up Items) -- > Save to Text File.
Now go to Tools -- > Start up -- > Schedule Task-- > Save to Text File.

Upload this two log files in your next replay.
 
Click on Start Menu and inside the Search type CMD you can see a command prompt window at the very top. Right Click on that one and Select Run as Administrator . Now you will get a black Command Prompt window. Inside that one type

CHKDSK /r /f

and hit on enter. Now it will ask you do you want to proceed in a restart..
Type Y and hit on enter. After that reboot the computer. Now this one will run a check Disk on your computer. It will take 2-3 hours to finish the check Disk. After that start the computer and check how your computer is working..
 
Wow you're right, it took 2 to 3 hours to finish but it still runs slow. Maybe I could run TDSSkiller again tomorrow and see if it could find more viruses and if it will stop again at 67%?
 
Hey man! I think it's working a bit faster in safe mode now. The load times when opening Chrome are not very long and the start up is fast.
 
Click Start, and then click Run.
Type msconfig, and then click OK.
The System Configuration Utility dialog box is displayed.
Go to the Tab Start UP and select the Option Disable All.
Then goto the Tab Services and select the option Hide all Microsoft Services.
After that select the Option Disable All and press on Applay and press on OK.
When you are prompted, click Restart to restart the computer.

After that reboot check the speed.
 
Done! And I think the machine is running faster now, but not like its speed when it was not yet affected by the virus. Should I recheck the antivirus and other essential startup programs or not? And, if I may, do you know of any other application that could detect and remove the virus?

Now check the Antivirus program in the start up and in Services.


Double click on OTL to run it
  • Click on the Cleanup button at the top.
  • You will be asked to reboot the machine to finish the Cleanup process. Choose Yes
  • This will remove itself and other tools we may have used.



Now that your PC is clean, I recommend you to create a new System Restore point then purge the old ones after.

For XP
How to create a Restore Point in XP
Delete all restore points except the most recent one

For Vista
Create a restore point
Delete all but the most recent restore point

For Windows 7
Create a restore point
Delete all but the most recent restore point - Click the Delete all but the most recent restore point link

I have no background on reformatting so..what about the files in my laptop? Does transferring my important files through a flash drive means that the virus will still be transferred to another laptop?
