What kind of metadata are you trying to strip away from the video file?

Web: Online exif data viewer
PC: MediaInfo
Android: MediaInfo - Apps on Google Play

From the camera app, you can turn off Location and app permissions.
Some Photo apps let you remove geolocation before sharing.
When uploading to social media sites, use a VPN to mask your current location.

Twitter doesn't show Exif data to viewers. Don't know about other platforms, you can look on their respective faq/support page for more info.
What happens to the Exif data for my photo?
When location services are enabled, and you attach a photo in the composer, Twitter refers to the Exif data of the photo to show suggested locations.

In addition, Twitter uses Exif data for analytics purposes related to whether tweeted media was taken with the device camera.

Twitter retains Exif data temporarily to process your photo. It is not available to those who view your photo on Twitter.
