No cloud component. It only gets signature updates once a day. One of the biggest downsides in my opinion...

Hope so too. The database of Huorong is quite small but still covers quite a big variety of threats. One signature can match thousands of variants.
Source: 24 h with Huorong, a week with Comodo 12, a year with Bitdefender 2019 (or not)
is this compatible with other softwares like KIS? I sthis even safe to use? I only need the HIPS?
Not mean`t to be compatable but you could disable the AV compent for HIPS and firewall protection only ?

It is not recommended to install multiple installations at the same time, the functions are duplicated, and there will inevitably be unknown conflicts.
After you install Huorong, the HIPS of Huorong is turned on.
Great to have a Huorong representative here. Are there any plans on more frequent signature updates or a cloud component?
No I mean I only have this HIPS components turned on, all other Firewall and Anti-virus components are disabled!
You dont need huorongs hips with KIS , it probably works without conflict but there is zero benefit over using KIS
Only ideal setup would be huorong + something to improve detection rate of huorong ( not kaspersky though )

Hello, the reply to your two questions is as follows:
1. We will consider entering the virustatol you mentioned in due course.
2. At present, the interface language of HuorongSecurity supports Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional) and English. Which languages do you want to support?

I remember that @Der.Reisende only had an email to send any undetected samples from the Malware Hub tests. Didn't see him for a while tho, hope he is alright.

You can submit samples to:
seclab@huorong.cn
They reply either in chinese or english.
I used to zip with password „infected“, and told them in the mail.
You can send files for analysis to secab@huorong.cn
