maybe it only happens sometimes. it is not happening now.
If problem is not fixed then restore system using known good system image. If not available, then clean install Windows and rebuild it. Best and fastest way to solve 99% of all problems. Avoids days and weeks of back-and-forth on forums trying to find a solution, only to get nowhere.

i have always had this problem.

i used to have a really cheap PC. it could only get 1 tab without freezing or crashing.

i read of someone opening 19 tabs.

i was wondering if i got an intel i7 cpu, could i open more tabs', or if i got a better graphics' card on my next PC?

It is very difficult to figure out what is happening in your system. It seems to me that your internet is being throttled. Do you have unlimited network/ISP plan or is it metered? Do you use router or satellite internet?

Even with an i3 CPU you should be able to open 50 or more browser tabs.

Anything is possible. It could even be a hardware issue - not necessarily your PC. It could be a modem, the router, shared network line.

Is your PC the only system connected to the network or are there other devices using the network? Perhaps you can draw basic, high-level network map and share? Example.

It is a process of elimination. The router, a modem (if using phone line internet), a switch (virtually all consumer routers are combined with a switch within the same the plastic housing), bad wires (interference), etc.

You do not have to reveal where exactly you reside, but it is helpful to know where in the world you are connected to the internet. For example, in Vietnam it is typical for there to be an overload of connections to a single network ingress point. This affects the quality of service for everyone in the vicinity.

Smart City Telecom chumps selling you high-priced slow internet.

Have you tried a portable version of a browser?

Just for the sake of being thorough and eliminate one thing at a time, try Maxthon portable browser (Windows 10 and 11 64-bit):

Here is the download page. The portable version links are directly beneath the boxed border versions.

i get spectrum internet for $65 a month.

maxthon charges you later, when you want to save your bookmarks.

a portable browser does not have all the function's that i want.

thank you all for responding.

Maxthon is free. You can pay to get some extra features, one which is super bookmarks. But all the standard browser features are free. Portable browsers have the same functionality as versions you install. You've only been suggested to use it for troubleshooting, not to use permanently.

i buy pre-built PC's. i have a DELL Inspiron, which was the most up to date i5 cpu at the time. it has a core i5 cpu, 9th generation, 12 GB of ram, intel 630 graphics' card, 126 GB SSD, 1 TB HDD.

my PC does that with all browsers. i use a 43" smart tv as my monitor.

what should i buy more power on the part's on the next PC that i buy?

🙂 thanks in advance.
What did you pay for this computer en when did you buy it? Was it new and was it a reputable seller?

Have you thoroughly screened your PC for malware?

You can search the internet to see if there are more people who experience these problems with this brand and computer model.

Perhaps there is a Dell user forum on the Internet with Dell staff and users where you can discuss this problem.

I think I paid $580 for this tower. it was new. I bought it from DELL.com.

I checked it for malware with 4 different anti-malwares.

could this be because I have a non gaming graphics card? I have an intel 630 graphics card.

thank you for responding. :)
