Question idle PC, Win11, Antimalware Service Executable

I wonder whether anyone could help me, please

This happens also while the PC is idle.

I’ve installed a third party antivirus, but, in TaskManager, I can still see Microsoft Win11’s “Antimalware Service Executable” still using around 148 MBs of RAM.

How can I mitigate Win11’s Antimalware Service Executable’s RAM consumption??

Do you have Defender set to run periodic scanning? This setting may be enabled when using a 3rd party AV. If so, disable it in Windows Security.

same problem here...installed Avast Premium Security. Reboot and
Defender with 2 services still in background.
Periodic Scan is off.
