- Modern OS Security – Android and iOS have strong sandboxing and built-in protection. Is AV redundant now?
- Google Play Protect & App Store Reviews – With Google Play Protect and Apple’s App Store vetting, how often does malware slip through?
- Battery & Performance Impact – AV apps often run in the background. Are they just draining resources without adding real value?
- The Real Threats – Are most mobile threats coming from malicious apps, phishing, or user mistakes rather than traditional malware?
- Extra Features – Some mobile AVs offer VPN, anti-theft, app lock, and privacy tools. Do these justify their existence?
