Advice Request Is Avast's Webshield useful without HTTPS Scanning?

I am using Avast right now and I turned off HTTPS Scanning. Does Webshield provide any meaningful functionality without it or should I disable it?

yes. It's still helpful at most
most malwares/phishing are delivered via http although more are https
I always disable https scanning in all AVs if I can

The thing is I have HTTPS always On in Edge and very rarely I find an HTTP site.
Is it possible for other programs to use HTTP?
