Solved Is NoScript still alive ?

I asked on github, but no response.

The developer of NoScript is also involved with JShelter (which is a paid project sponsored by a Dutch agency using EU-money), so I bet he is enjoying the benefits of a paid sponsored project and will probably use the knowledge acquired with JShelter (which also looks at JavaScript and browser api misuse) for a NoScript Mv3 incarnation. Incarnation, because when looking at the number of issues in NoScript I am doubting any development on current version will be done anymore.

NoScript seems to be active, using it in firefox and in ungoogled chromium, author is still (purports to be) Giorgio Maone. fwiw chatgpt says you get good security by enabling its preferences (options) to "temporarily set top-level sites to trusted" without disabling most websites -- apparently many bad scripts come from 3d-party domains and not from parent domain. I used NoScript in the past, then did not for years, so I am relearning its features, and so I'm far liking it. (fwiw). :geek:
