but the market rewards business innovation and ingenuity, not plans to stall and wring revenue from a stale product. People can see thru that, they will only bring limited revenue from this. And the longer they stall, the more chance that me-too products will arrive, bringing the product down to a being commodity.

So? How does that equate to needing a subscription model? Look at Terabyte. IFW doesn't need a subscription model to provide OUTSTANDING software. And they are still very much alive.

You can get a lifetime licence, even for free and it will work forever, as long as Windows supports it. They do not make changes requiring updates, Windows does.

What about optimizers in Wise Registry Cleaner (System Tuneup Tab) and Reg Organizer (Tweaks Tab), both are promising to make windows work better, but I never tried these features, both have a rollback capability to the default state, do you recommend using these features?

In short, all you needed to do was update/reinstall drivers because the optimizer essentially done that, nothing else.

If there's slow connection on one device, but it's fast on all others that means either something is wrong with the network card, or with the drivers. In most cases, it's the drivers.

I don't think the optimizer updated anything.

The optimizer mentioned does nothing with drivers, it debloats Windows. By debloating Windows 10 and 11, as opposed to using apps which do some minor tweaks, you can get a very noticeable increase in performance. I use the paid paid version of Pegasun System Utilities to do this. I've never used any other debloating tools, so I have no idea how well it performs compared to alternatives.

My PC has a SSD and there was very noticeable difference in performance after using Pegasun. I don't care too much about the opinion of JayzTwoCents. For example, it took him seventeen years to find out about Revo Uninstaller. So unlike myself, he probably doesn't spend much time using and testing Windows utilities. I've used pretty much every single PC booster type app ever published and while often they won't make much difference in performance, tools which actually debloat Windows, rather than just cleaning up junk and registry entries and doing some basic optimisations, can lead to a very noticeable performance increase.

I learned the lession hard way. Feel free to make mistakes which I did. Maybe that's actually the best way to learn something.

P.S. I don't understand the fuss about Revo. I'm using whenever I want to uninstall something. I never faced any issue at all. Problems only come when you decide to delete everything it found which really isn't clever to do.

For some reason I feel the need to test every single antivirus and optimisation tool I come across. The ones I use and these days and sometimes recommend, are safe to use. I have learnt the hard way that some tools like these can cause issues. For example, there were a few times many years ago that I made a system unbootable by using a registry cleaner.

I've had no issues using the System Tuneup tab in Wise Care 365. When people claim that all optimizers are more harmful than helpful, I believe it's often a result of personal experiences. With the vast array of computers and software available, it's natural that experiences will vary. Just as new games may behave differently on different system configurations, optimizers may also produce varying results. As someone who has been using optimizers for the past 10 years, I've noticed noticeable improvements when using them, particularly on lower-end systems. Sticking to the same optimizers over the years can also contribute to these positive results.

In my case, I've been using the tools within Wise Care and HiBit, as well as IOBit Driver Booster on occasion, following a clean install. I don't go searching for new ones. I've had no major issues over the years, and I no longer bother taking backups, although I still recommend it to others. It's essential to note that while I've had a positive experience, it's crucial to exercise caution and follow best practices when using optimizers
