DelFix was the tool & it really did not mater what link. when I got a link in an browser page or in a email & clicked on it to open it. the new browser window opens then closes very fast-- then very soon no matter what I tried to open, even saved favorites would not open. could not even open programs on my own computer tried rebooting no help at all. Have you ever seen this before?

I see this under the post where you gave me instructions (You have insufficient privileges to reply here.) I hope it is alright I upload the scan logs here. The first scan produced two logs so I uploaded both of them.

Yes when I try to click on a link or favorite the new window opens with no address in the address bar. I can right click on the link and choose save then open the empty window and paste into the empty address bar then it will open what ever it is I'm trying to open or go to. P.S. I really do appreciate your help.

They work fine. I think it is Explorer, I tried to reset it and the problem is gone now. :)

Very good, I had reset in mind too.

Now that everything is ok, we're done here :)

First, go to Control Panel and uninstall following:
- Adobe Reader X
- Java(TM) 6 Update 13
- Java(TM) 6 Update 18
- Java(TM) 6 Update 22
- Java(TM) 6 Update 23
- Java(TM) 6 Update 5
- Java(TM) 6 Update 7

Latest versions of Java and Adobe Reader available here --> http://www.java.com/en/ and here http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/
Make sure to uncheck optional offers.

I can recommend you this software to avoid Adware in the future:

http://unchecky.com/

Read here how it works --> http://www.howtogeek.com/179758/how-to-avoid-junkware-offers-with-unchecky/

The following will implement some post-cleanup procedures:

=> Please download DelFix by Xplode to your Desktop.

Run the tool and check the following boxes below;

Create registry backup

Purge System Restore

Click Run button and wait a few seconds for the programme completes his work.
At this point all the tools we used here should be gone. Tool will create an report for you (C:\DelFix.txt)

The tool will also record healthy state of registry and make a backup using ERUNT program in %windir%\ERUNT\DelFix
Tool deletes old system restore points and create a fresh system restore point after cleaning.
