G'day from Australia!

My name is Azza and i have joined this community because i am starting my journey into Cybersecurity. I have an extensive tech background through my years working at various telcos (provisioning, case management, tech support)

I am looking forward to learning from the minds here and hopefully i can bring some value as well.

G’day, Azza—welcome to MalwareTips!

Your telco background should transfer well to cybersecurity: troubleshooting, networking, identity checks, case documentation, escalation and dealing with social engineering are all highly relevant. A solid path would be to strengthen networking, Windows/Linux fundamentals, authentication, logging and basic scripting, then practise through labs or a small home environment.

Don’t worry about learning every security tool at once. Understanding what normal activity looks like—and documenting why something is suspicious—is far more valuable than collecting a hundred blinking dashboards.

Glad to have you aboard, and I look forward to seeing what you bring to the discussions.
