That's something you need to ask K7. If you're very lucky, they may even reply to you.

When I had questions about the product, it took a lot of peristance on my part to get a response from them.

Have you actually purchased a license for one of their products and they didn't reply to you despite the fact that you were their customer? :unsure: Did you email them from the same email address you used to register your account for their software?

Trialed their software. Yes I did. No response in the 30 day trial.

You seriously believe that? From trialing software, to test driving a car, you are going to have questions! ie.... what does this button do? How does this work? How do I turn this off?.....I, like others, expect answers. I’m sure people don’t just go through life blindly. You can’t honestly believe that trialing software raises no questions or issues. I’m sure developers, good ones anyway, want to hear from people and help them. Sheesh :rolleyes:

Trust me, they don't respond regardless, trial or otherwise. I purchased licenses for a consulting client that is an Indian operated firm in the USA and they insisted on using it. We had some issues, they never responded. I emailed everyone I could find at that company, they never responded. The Indian guy emailed them in their native language, and they never responded. I called them, 4 times, and they never picked up the phone.

With that kind of pathetic support, put your money elsewhere.

I eventually was able to get a response to my email, after using thier live chat a number of times, until I was able to talk to someone.

Before I eventually was able to talk to someone as K7, I emailed Defenx, as their antivirus is a rebrand of K7 and also got no response.

The 2019 version of their products (v16) were released yesterday. The UI is same as the previous versions, other than the colour and it looks like there are no new features. Maybe it just has bug fixes.

The detection rate has not improved.
